Matt Macduff: Welcome to Octane One video. I’m feelin this for three reasons: 1. The song: Flocka, nothing like choosing a song and not giving a fuck what the pinkbike groms will think. And personally I think it suited it very well. 2: He lights up spots, literally. I think it’s sick he went out at night with a geney and lit up some spots to get a trick. 3: He’s seriously on one. As much as mtb street isn’t a ‘thing’ (they make bmx’s for a reason) he puts it down. Like some of those rail hops and that bar over the bench.. damn.

Lines of Lofoten - Antimedia

Pretty sure we slept on this one, but just in case you haven’t seen, Norway-based Antimedia has been putting in work. This is apparently a teaser, but it’s 9 minutes long and pretty much shuts every spot in it down so I think it’s a recap of all the best riding.

Includes that sick jump line that they sent a massive cablecam down last year, I always enjoy new Adrian Tell footage, and the whole scene they have over there looks amazing.

This has lots of rad riding shots but god awful music. Don’t go to extremes with music in a teaser you are trying to use to promote your movie. I will never understand this. If you want to use a techno dance song put some thought into how much techno dance music the public has listened too and pick an entry level song. Don’t drop into some “end of a seven day trance song it’s 4am in the morning and I need to be high as tits to enjoy this.” I’m not saying this just for techno dance songs. If you want to use Pink Floyd it would be stupid to hit them with a heavy Pink Floyd song too.
